2024경기도자비엔날레 "투게더_몽테뉴의 고양이" 포스터 공개

* 이미지 클릭 시 비엔날레 공식 홈페이지로 이동합니다.  2024경기도자비엔날레 "투게더_몽테뉴의 고양이" 포스터를 공개합니다! 이번 주제인 ‘투게더’는 미국인 사회학자 리처드 세넷의 저서 『투게더: 다른 사람들과 함께 살아가기』에서 차용했습니다. 수많은 인종과 민족, 오랜 역사를 연결해 온 ‘도자’라는 매체를 통해 현대사회의 갈등과 불안 속 ‘잃어버린 협력의 기술’을 어떻게 되찾을 수 있을지 살펴보고 ‘협력’에 대한 진정한 의미를 탐색합니다. 부제인 ‘몽테뉴의 고양이’는 프랑스 철학가 미셸 드 몽테뉴가 『수상록』에서 말한 “내가 고양이와 놀고 있으면서, 사실은 그 고양이가 나와 놀고 있는 것이 아니라는 걸 내가 어찌 알겠는가?”라는 물음을 통해, 나와 타인의 차이를 인식하고 더 깊은 의미의 ‘협력’에 대해 고찰하겠다는 의도를 담았습니다. 포스터 디자인에는 도자 작업 도구와 함께 자연, 기술 등 다양한 요소가 모여 하나의 공동체를 이루는 모습을 고양이의 은유적 형상화를 통해 ‘투게더’의 개념을 시각화한 것이 특징이며, 여러 조형의 모음으로 이루어진 타이포그래피는 ‘혼자’가 모여 ‘함께’가 되는 과정을 표현했습니다. ✨2024경기도자비엔날레 📍기간: 2024. 9. 6.(금)~10. 20.(일) 📍장소: 이천·여주·광주·경기도내 곳곳 📍내용: 국제전시교류행사, 도민예술페스티벌, 경기곳곳협력행사, 마켓행사 등 📍문의: 031-645-0681 / contact@gcb.kr - We unveil the poster for the 2024 Gyeonggi Ceramics Biennale, themed "Together_Montaigne's Cat"! The theme 'Together' for this edition is inspired by American sociologist Richard Sennett's book "Together: The Rituals, Pleasures, and Politics of Cooperation." Through the medium of ceramics, which connects numerous races, ethnicities, and long histories, we explore how we can reclaim the 'lost skill of cooperation' amidst the conflicts and uncertainties of modern society and delve into the true meaning of 'cooperation.' The subtitle, 'Montaigne's Cat,' encapsulates the intention to reflect on the deeper meaning of 'cooperation' by acknowledging the difference between oneself and others, as posed in the question by the French philosopher Michel de Montaigne in "Essays": "When I play with my cat, how do I know that she is not playing with me rather than I with her?" The poster design features various elements such as nature, technology, and ceramic work tools coming together to form a community, symbolized by the metaphorical representation of a cat, visualizing the concept of 'Together.'
